Since the ground is typically the coolest place in the kitchen, the True GDM-47-HC-LD glass door merchandiser has a bottom-mounted condensing unit to maximize energy efficiency. The condensing unit’s position also facilitates maintaining the merchandiser and maximizes the visibility of product by raising it to a higher level. Using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the system maintains temperatures from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. This refrigerant is better for the environment than traditional options.

Two low-emissivity doors provide superior temperature retention through their two panes of thermal glass, which filter out UV radiation. Between the panes sits a layer of dense argon gas that increases energy efficiency in the merchandiser. The merchandiser doors are counter balanced and self-closing for smooth operation, and they ensure a positive seal. This True GDM-47-HC-LD glass door merchandiser has eight adjustable, PVC-coated wire shelves with 1¹/₂-inch height increments.
