Since the Beverage Air SPED48HC-08-2 Elite Series food prep table is made of stainless steel, it resists dents, scratches, and corrosion. Its interior is lined with aluminum to prevent damage from spills. A 10-inch-wide polyethylene cutting board provides space for making salads and sandwiches, and the self-closing door can stay open 120 degrees for full cabinet access. To create an airtight seal, magnetic door gaskets snap in place. Two epoxy-coated shelves hold items inside the cabinet.

The Beverage Air SPED48HC-08-2 prep table has two drawers with telescoping slides and a locking mechanism that prevents them from being pulled out. Each drawer can hold 6-inch-deep food pans (sold separately). The drawers and door have aluminum handles to facilitate opening and closing, and the top food pan storage area is furnished with eight sixth-size, 4-inch-deep food pans. Four 6-inch casters are included for mobility, two of which have safety brakes.
